What we collect

We do not require an account. The phones you compare are stored only in the page address (URL) and, for your theme preference, in your browser’s local storage.

Your pick

If you press “I’m leaning towards this” on a phone, we remember that one phone as your pick, in your browser’s local storage on this device. It isn’t a cookie, it isn’t sent to our servers, and it isn’t linked to you. It expires after 90 days.

We use it to show advertising for that phone or its brand, and say so beside the ad (“Matched to your pick”). When advertising is enabled, the ad request will include the phone’s catalogue name (for example google-pixel-11) and the phones on the page, and nothing else about you. We don’t track you across other websites.

Server logs

Our servers keep short-lived technical logs (IP address, requested page, time) for security and rate-limiting purposes.

No advertising or analytics cookies are currently set. When they are introduced, they will only load after you give consent, and this policy will be updated.
